Three workshops for Spring 2018

Sunday January 21st – Introductory Musical Improv Workshop

No automatic alt text available.Love music? Love improv? Wish you could combine the two? If the answer to any of those questions is ‘yes’ come and join for an introductory musical improv workshop. Learn some musical improv structures and styles that you can take away and use in jams and shows ranging from old favourites to some that may be less familiar – you will be belting out your own West End-style numbers in no time at all.

With the amazingly talented and funny Lloydie. Lloydie performs with Rhymes Against Humanity and the Maydays. He has trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade, the Annoyance Theatre and Second City, and performed at the NY Del Close Marathon.

And that’s not all! After the workshop there will be an opportunity to instantly put these new found skills into action with a show at 1930 that evening: Jukebox of Frogs – an evening of musical improv with special guests Rhymes Against Humanity and Off Broad Street to follow. Participation in the show completely non-compulsory (but likely to be very fun).
